Up and coming artist, Lokeyx's new single, 'Black Weapons' is making some waves within the refueled Black Lives Matters movement.
East Atlanta native, Lokeyx, dropped a new release that merits your attention. In an audible letter to America, Lokeyx asks "What does it mean to be to be served and protected? F*ck should I know, I've been searched and arrested." The Atlanta native explains his view of the state of the Black male, systemic racism and social injustice.

The lyrics were well nuanced and described in great detail the social injustice experienced by Black Americans. Lokeyx has shown in the past the ability to make enjoyable music while adding depth and this track is no different.
'Black Weapons' was produced by RLDAPRODUCER, another Atlanta creative on the rise. The instruments create a mood that Lokeyx capitalizes on with some conscious bars unlike any track in his current catalog.
The song dropped online and garnered some attention from activist within the Black Lives Matters Movement. The has been shared online by activists and will be a protest song to be listened to for years to come.
